Brian DeSpain

Brian DeSpain is a Senior Systems Engineer for VMware, responsible for major accounts in DFW and Arkansas.  Brian’s certifications include a CISSP and CCNA.  The focus of Brian’s 12+ years in the IT industry has been focused on computer security, compliance, content filtering, and data protection. Brian joined VMware in March 2010, prior to that Brian worked for Websense, SurfControl, and McAfee.  Brian currently resides in Frisco, TX with his wife and son.

The April 7th vmWare user group will be held at the Bill & Margaret Clark Room in the River Market, Down town Little Rock.

Drew Habas and Chriss Schwiderski are the Regional Sales Team for Compellent covering Arkansas, Oklahoma and North Texas. Drew has been a product and presales engineer for over 10 years at APC, Dell and Compellent. He has extensive experience in designing systems for data centers. In the last two years alone, he has supervised nearly 2 petabytes of storage projects. Chriss has been with Compellent for 4 years and has overseen nearly 100 customer deployments. Prior to Compellent, Chriss pursued his MBA and worked in Shanghai, China as a management consultant.

Bart Burns is a Data Center Systems Engineer with Cisco. He focuses on Cisco’s Data Center 3.0 architecture and works with Cisco’s eco-partners to create a complete solution that customers can implement to meet their business goals. Bart’s primary focus within Cisco’s portfolio includes Unified Computing System, Nexus, and MDS. Bart joined Cisco in 2006; prior to that he worked at Acxiom Corporation and the U.S. Air Force.
